DSV has released plans of a major investment to expand its headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark.

DSV will break ground on a 10,000 sq m expansion to the global headquarters in January 2019, following the completion of an underground parking facility constructed during 2018.

It will then construct an additional 150,000 sq m of logistics buildings.

The initial expansion will create jobs for 400 new employees, whilst the second expansion will bring 800 new employees to the DSV workforce.

Over the planned five-year period, DSV will be investing a total of DKK1 billion (USD153 million) during the two expansion projects.

According to DSV, by 2024, more than 250,000 sq m of logistics space will be available to clients.

DSV has a long history in heavy lift and project logistics with clients from the oil, gas and renewable energy sectors, as well as multinational suppliers of infrastructure equipment.
