Fagioli has re-entered the UK market through a strategic partnership with Notus Contract Lifting.

The agreement combines the Italian heavy lift and engineered transport group’s global experience with the fast-growing UK company’s local expertise. Notus-Fagioli said the venture will seek to capitalise on a pipeline of projects, with safety, engineering innovation and customer value as priorities.

Simon Crawley, sales and commercial director at Notus, has been appointed joint venture manager for Notus-Fagioli. He said: “Together, we are confident that we can build on Notus’ reputation and bring the same world-class standards that Fagioli has delivered on the global stage to projects here in the UK.

“The coming months will see Fagioli mobilise equipment to Notus’ new 3 acre [1.2 ha] facility in Kent, which will allow time and cost savings to UK projects.”

Christiano Cavallini, Fagioli Group vice president, strategic partnership and business development, added: “We see this as more than a partnership, it is the beginning of a new chapter for the heavy lift industry in the UK, one that will set higher standards and deliver lasting value for our clients.”
