The sale of DAKO Worldwide Transport and its affiliated companies to CF&S was completed at the end of 2023. With the deal closed, and a transition period successfully navigated, DAKO board member Ralf Grosskopf has announced his retirement.

With 65 years in the logistics arena under his belt, Grosskopf said that he will now step back from the business. “I would like to thank all those to whom I was unable to pass this message personally for the many years of trustful cooperation and friendship. I have always enjoyed these many years and have practiced my profession with joy and commitment; it has never become a burden to me.”

Grosskopf will continue to look after the family holding Dacotrans International S.A., Luxembourg, and its activities in Central and South America, which were not part of the sale of DAKO Worldwide Transport. “Apart from that, shortly before I reach the age of 83 and after more than 65 years in the profession of a forwarding agent and project transport specialist, I am taking my well-deserved retirement.”

He added: “I wish the new owners every success in mastering the tasks ahead.”
