Harren & Partner gains wind

March 30 - Harren & Partner has been appointed technical manager of Ocean Breeze Energy's jack-up vessel, Wind Lift I.

The offshore wind construction vessel, which measures 93.8 m in length and 36 m in width, was built in 2010 at Western Shipyard in Klaipeda, Lithuania, and since then has been in operation in wind installation and maintenance.

The basic design (NG-5300), jacking system and 500-tonne heavy duty/high outreach offshore crane were supplied by GustoMSC.

"This vessel represents an important enhancement of our fleet. It extends our scope of action to provide our customers with comprehensive, yet customised solutions," says Heiko Felderhoff, managing director of Harren & Partner.
