The Commercial Port of Vladivostok, part of the Fesco Transportation Group, will receive five port cranes in 2020.

As part of the modernisation of its facilities, which aims to increase the port’s cargo handling capacity, Vladivostok will take delivery of four Vityaz port cranes and a Liebherr LPS 420.

The Vityaz cranes will be installed at berths 6 and 13 at the Universal Terminal. Each crane has a lifting capacity of 63 tonnes and a maximum outreach of 40 m.

The Liebherr portal slewing crane features a lifting capacity of 124 tonnes and a maximum boom length of 48 m. It will be installed at berth 9.

According to Fesco, the LPS 420 will be the largest capacity crane in Vladivostok’s fleet of port equipment. The unit will join Universal Terminal’s fleet of 26 cranes, ranging in lifting capacity from 16 to 100 tonnes.
