Samsung Construction & Trading has selected Jan De Nul to provide marine works for the 2.4 GW Fujairah F3 gas-fired combined-cycle power plant.
Samsung is the EPC contractor for the UAE development. It subcontracted Jan De Nul for the intake and outfall installation scope. The project is being developed in Ras Al Qidfa, 24 km from Fujairah City.
Construction of this new complex began in 2020 and is expected to start generating power in 2022.
