After stepping into the role on an interim basis in August 2025, JAS has appointed Manuele Mazzacurati as chief commercial officer and promoted François-Xavier Mollet to executive vice president, EMEA region, with both effective immediately. The USA-based logistics firm has also opened a trio of offices, with two in China – in Guangzhou and Xiamen – and one in Minneapolis, USA.
HLPFI reported in August that Mazzacurati had been appointed interim chief commercial officer at JAS, following David Bang’s decision to pursue another opportunity outside the organisation. Most recently executive vice president of global sales and marketing since November 2022, Mazzacurati holds experience which spans Mexico, Panama, and the broader Americas region.

Mollet, meanwhile, succeeds Stefan Sigg, who will retire after spending 28 years with JAS. With more than 30 years of experience at JAS himself, Mollet has held senior leadership positions across several continents and most recently served as senior vice president of sales for EMEA. In his new role, Mollet will lead the region’s overall strategy and performance, supported by an executive management team responsible for their respective sub-regions.
Both the relocated Guangzhou office and the new Xiamen location will provide air, ocean and ground freight solutions, as well as Customs brokerage, cargo insurance and supply chain management services. JAS cited the importance of the latter’s location, close to customers in key port cities and manufacturing hubs. It has also referenced Xiamen’s strong connectivity and its role as a gateway for international trade.
In the USA, JAS has opened a branch in Minneapolis, Minnesot to bolster its presence in the US Midwest.
HLPFI reported in November that JAS had completed the acquisition of Pentagon Freight Services, having also opened an office in Beijing in June.
