February 18 - Modulift has appointed CEA Projects Ltd (CEA) as its distributor covering Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Korea and Australia

CEA Projects becomes Modulift's 11th distributor.

Modulift says that the economic growth of the SE Asian region is creating high demand for its equipment which is used to move heavy, OOG and breakbulk cargoes, as well as serve heavy industry manufacturing and large engineering projects, necessitating a significant stock portfolio of Modulift products to be held locally to meet the growing demand for lifting equipment.

Sarah Spivey (pictured below), managing director commented, "When I first met CEA I was very impressed with the work they are doing and the size of the operation. These guys are experts in their field and wonderful to work with. I am delighted that they are going to work with us to promote Modulift and we are all looking forward to what's going to happen now there is to be significant stock in this part of the world. CEA will be holding spreaders capable of lifting up to 600 tonnes at 12 metres so whatever the project, they will have a beam available for fast delivery."

With CEA offering a fully holistic service throughout SE Asia and Australia, with services including heavy lift and engineering, storage and handling, project logistics and cargo consolidation, Modulift says that it is "thrilled" to appoint such a "hands on" company to manage its business in South East Asia.

"We are very excited by this collaboration with Modulift, we have already planned a series of events to promote Modulift to all our customers and can' t wait to get started" says CEA's managing director, Kevin Fisher (pictured below).

The Modulift range comprises 16 systems, which provide lifting capacity for weights between 2 - 5,000 tonnes and lengths from 200mm - 53 m. The system is used for the smallest maintenance work to the largest lifting jobs in many industry sectors. Modulift currently has sales and rental customers in the construction, maritime, offshore, oil and gas, industrial and aerospace industries. All utilise the modular system to enable the lifting of various loads, without the need to buy or rent new spreader beams for every
different job.

The Modulift range also consists of a series of accessories that provide efficient support to the spreader range. These include shackles and slings, logistics cradles, semi spreaders and step down end units and cone adaptors.
