October 18 - The Port of Vancouver USA has securedUSD5.7 million in grant funding that will be used to develop 58 acres of the port's Centennial Industrial Park.
The funding was provided through a USD1.1 billion capital budget package aimed at stimulating the state's economy.
The property to be developed has proximity to a deep-draft shipping channel, key freeway freight corridors, and dual-carrier rail service.
The Port of Vancouver USA is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2012.
