PPG restructures training course

The Project Professionals Group (PPG) has restructured its project cargo forwarding training course into a one-day format.

Over the past ten years, the two-day course has been run in conjunction with major breakbulk and heavy lift events around the world. PPG general manager Kevin Stephens explained that industry feedback has encouraged the reformatting into a one-day master class to meet the needs of those who have limited time to be away from their offices.

“The new master class workshop format is aimed clearly at project forwarders, 3PLs, clients and ECPMs to provide an integrated understanding of what is involved in the successful multimodal transportation of complex super-size cargoes and the management of risks for all stakeholders,” added Stephens.

Registration for the next master class, which will be held in Houston on November 15, is now open.
