Effective July 1, 2026, Kevin Price has been appointed president of Georgia Ports Authority (GPA), with a longer-term transition plan for him to assume the role of president and ceo by mid-2027.

Kevin Price will join GPA from July 1, 2026.

Currently president of Gateway Terminals in Savannah and formerly chief operating officer of Virginia International Terminals, Price has over 30 years’ experience in various leadership roles. Initially in his role at GPA, he will report to ceo Griff Lynch.

Last year, GPA and Wallenius Wilhelmsen signed a 20-year lease after the latter opened its South Atlantic hub at the port of Brunswick.
