Progressive on track for siding opening

January 24 - US over-dimensional rail freight operator Progressive Rail is close to completion of a 1.6 km passing track that will boost volumes of rail car interchange between the Union Pacific Railroad (UP) and Progressive Rail's Wisconsin Northern Rail

He says that additional ladder tracks will emanate from the passing track, offering greater rail transportation and transloading options to customers. This investment is set to benefit Wisconsin Northern Railroad's and UP clients throughout Northwest Wisconsin.

Lakeville, Minnesota-based Progressive Rail Specialized Logistics (PRSL) concentrates on rail movements for over-dimensional products such as generators and boilers, heavy machinery, wind power equipment as well as plant relocation and rail switching for industries in the United States.
