Scan Global Logistics has opened three offices within the last month – in Dijon, France; Cotonou, Benin; and Lomé, Togo.

Scan Global has embarked on rapid expansion programme this year. With seven acquisitions under its belt, including the most recent deal with UK-based Horizon International Cargo, and organic growth that has extended its global footprint, Scan Global said its ambitious growth strategy is very much on track.

In France, the Dijon office is Scan Global’s second location in the country, having opened its first office in Lille just six months ago.

The operations in West Africa, Scan Global said, acknowledge the demand for transport within, to and from the region. In close collaboration with the already established offices in the neighbouring countries Mali, Senegal, and the Ivory Coast, they will provide commercial air and ocean freight forwarding services and inland container haulage.

Allan Melgaard, group ceo, said: “Continuously opening new offices is in line with our strategy to strengthen our local presence while providing uncomplicated global logistics solutions. We will plant more local flags around the world in the years to come”.
