UK-based heavy lift and abnormal load transport specialist Carter Contracting Services (CCS) has appointed Danny Skidmore as its chief operations officer.
Skidmore joins the company from UK-based heavy haulier Allelys, where he served as chief operations officer since October 2022. Prior to that, he was the company’s head of projects and spent more than five years with transport engineering specialist Osprey Group, too.
“With a strong track record in operational leadership over two decades, Danny brings valuable expertise and experience that will support continued growth and performance across the business,” said CCS. “This again further strengthens our position to support our clients and their projects, our capabilities in the market and our operational teams.”
This follows the appointment of Tom Banks as technical operations manager at CCS.
