Dutch stevedoring, warehousing and breakbulk services provider Supermaritime has appointed Milan Tevel as general manager Supermaritime Nederland, effective immediately. The company has also expanded its warehousing capacity by nearly 13,000 sq m.

Tevel succeeds Martien Burger, who will remain with Supermaritime in an advisory role over the next year. Initially joining Supermaritime as a stevedore in 2012, since 2019 Tevel has served as operations manager at the firm.
“He has a lot of experience within our organisation and a clear vision for the future,” said Peter van der Laan, ceo of Supermaritime Group. “Martien has played a significant role in the growth and development of our organisation, and we extend our sincere gratitude for his long-standing commitment and contribution.”
Supermaritime has warehousing and and offshore supply base at the port of Vlissingen, the Netherlands. The company is also building a logistics hub at the port which totals 12,787 sq m, comprising 10,956 sq m of warehouse space.
