The main driver came from America with revenues surging 52 percent year-on-year in 2012 over 2011. Double-digit gains were also recorded in the Asia-Pacific region. Europe saw a 2.4 percent decrease, however, Germany posted 5.2 percent sales growth.
 
"Despite stagnation on the global market, our air freight earnings - at a growth of 17.3 percent - now saw more growth than sea freight (up 12 percent)," commented Quentin Lacoste, ceo Europe / Middle East / Subcontinent of Röhlig.

"Our project business and supply chain management services, which are still being developed, also saw healthy expansion in excess of 46 percent," he went on.
