Antwerp-based Ahlers Logistics has appointed Dave van den Bos as its ceo to drive the company’s international growth and strengthen its project logistics focus.
Van den Bos has over two decades of leadership experience in logistics and supply chain management, including a strong track record in project logistics, which Ahlers said is a strategic priority.
He previously held senior leadership roles at Halliburton, Panalpina, P&O Maritime Logistics, and most recently Blue Water Shipping, where he served as regional director, Europe, the Middle East and Africa and global head of marine logistics.
Ahlers is present in over 15 countries in Europe, the CIS and Asia. It said that it is accelerating its international development strategy, supported by long-term family shareholders and a focus on high-value logistics services.
Recently, the company established a branch in Hamburg, Germany, to strengthen its footprint in the DACH region.
