Blue Water Shipping has named Milton Santos as its Brazil country manager for the energy, ports and projects division.
Based in Rio de Janeiro, Santos has more than 21 years of experience in freight forwarding and international transportation of heavy lift and oversized cargo.
Blue Water said Santos has a strong background across oil and energy, infrastructure, power generation, renewables, mining and EPC activities, and has launched and expanded industrial projects across multiple Latin American countries.
The company has been busy lately, having expanded its premises at Port Esbjerg, appointed Thomas Bek as ceo, and named Ryan Foley as senior vice president of projects.
