Buss Terminal Eemshaven in the Netherlands has appointed Reindert-Jan Visser as managing director, joining Martin van den Heuvel.
Responsible for the terminal's commercial and business development, Visser has worked for various international oil and energy companies in the UK, Norway and Germany. He has also worked on several energy projects in the USA.
The terminal in Eemshaven, formerly the Orange Blue Terminal, is majority-owned by the Hamburg-based Buss Group, which, in September, established a joint venture with St. Nazaire, France-based IDEA Groupe to provide a range of logistics services for the French offshore energy market.
The memorandum of understanding was signed with Buss Offshore Solutions at WindEnergy Hamburg, outlining the service portfolio of the joint venture, which will be marketed as Buss IDEA Offshore.
