UK-based heavy haulier Collett & Sons has expanded its heavy lift storage capabilities thanks to an extension at its Elland depot in West Yorkshire, UK.

The expansion adds 650 sq m of indoor heavy lift storage, bringing the the site’s capacity to 1,100 sq m. The facility to equipped with 15-tonne and 30-tonne overhead gantry cranes.

One of seven Collett sotrage facilities, the Elland depot is located 2 miles (3.22 km) from the M62 junction. Throughout the UK, Collett offers more than 45,000 sq m of internal and external storage.

HLPFI reported last month that Collett had moved a transformer from Rotterdam to North Yorkshire. Also last month, the firm added a pair of TGX heavy tractors to its fleet.
