Wilhelmsen and Wallenius complete merger

April 4 - The boards of Wilh. Wilhelmsen and Wilh. Wilhelmsen Holding have received all the necessary approvals to complete the merger between Wilh. Wilhelmsen and Wallenius Lines, including the jointly owned entities Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics, EUKOR

The new entity, Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics ASA, is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange, and will start trading under the name WWL.

Jan-Eyvin Wang and Benedicte Bakke Agerup resign as ceo and cfo respectively of Wilh. Wilhelmsen. Craig Jasienski has been appointed as ceo and Rebekka Glasser Herlofsen the cfo of Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics.

The companies announced the plans to establish a new ownership structure in September, 2016, as HLPFI reported here.
