Goldhofer debuts in Oman

August 1 - Sinan Heavy Lift LLC, one of Oman's biggest crane rental and heavy haulage companies, has acquired a Goldhofer THP/SL platform trailer.

The THP/SL has a technically permissible axle load of 45 tonnes and offers Sinan Heavy Lift a total payload of over 700 tonnes for the transportation of transformers, turbines, pressure vessels and so on, primarily for the oil and gas industry in Oman.

Sinan Al Harthi, proprietor and manager of Sinan Heavy Lift,  said that the new THP/SL module will be mainly used for off-road operations, and will need to be capable of dealing with extreme conditions in the rocky desert of Oman.
