Heavy-duty equipment manufacturer Goldhofer will launch a new vehicle at this year’s IAA Commercial Vehicles show in Hannover during September 2018 – the Arcuspk.

The Arcuspk STZ-PK 8 low-loader semi-trailer has been designed with a steering system that provides optimum control in all situations, says Goldhofer. Self-tracking pendular axles prevent steering errors in forward and reverse motion and reduce tyre wear.

“With the Arcuspk, we now have the first low-loader semi-trailer with self-tracking pendular axles in series production. Thanks to the innovative steering system, the vehicle has excellent cornering characteristics and also has a new, unique and user-friendly control system in the form of SmartControl,” explained Goldhofer board member, Hubert Schaller. Goldhofer claims this simplifies the operator's work, as the individual steering functions can now be operated at the touch of a button.

Goldhofer will also be demonstrating its Allrounder at the show – an STN-L 3 low-loader semi-trailer with self-tracking axles. It described the unit as a “universal workhorse” designed with a focus on handling construction machinery.

Equipped with wheel recesses and a one or two-piece hydraulic ramp, the Allrounder is a safe solution for transporting all kinds of construction equipment, says Goldhofer. The wheel recesses can be quickly flattened into a continuous platform for fast and easy loading of tracked vehicles and construction materials.
