Liebherr has upgraded the lifting capacity of its LTM 1750-9.1 mobile crane from 750 tonnes to 800 tonnes.
The company said that the upgrade has been made possible through the use of refined static calculation methods. Despite the increase in lifting capacity, the type designation of LTM 1750-9.1 will be retained.
Operators of the LTM 1750-9.1 now have the possibility to update the crane software with the new tables and add any additional equipment required, said Liebherr.
A new luffing fly jib configuration has also increased the load capacity for wind energy applications. Liebherr explained that more than 10 tonnes of additional load capacity can be generated for the mounting of wind turbines on 90-100 m-high towers.
