pewag brands Load Monitoring Systems (LMS) and Modulift have appointed Westcon Løfteteknikk (WCL) as an official distributor in Norway.
“This is a natural evolution of an already strong partnership,” said Thomas Dietvorst, segment manager lifting solutions at pewag. “WCL has consistently demonstrated technical competence, market insight and a customer-first approach. As a global distributor of LMS and Modulift, they are ideally placed to support Norwegian clients with innovative products, fast delivery, and local expertise.”
With this expansion, WCL now holds stock of LMS load cells – ranging between 6.5-55 tonnes – and Modulift spreader beams – MOD 6, MOD 12, MOD 24, MOD 34 and MOD 50 models – both of which are ready for immediate rental and purchase in Norway. WCL is also investing in an LMS by pewag high-precision calibration machine which can calibrate tension load cells ranging from 3.25-55 tonnes, with WCL expected to be able to offer full in-house calibration services by the end of the year.
“Bringing calibration in-house is a game-changer for our customers,” added Tommy Nilsen, sales and marketing director at WCL. “It means reduced downtime, fewer transport costs and a faster service for our Norwegian client base.”
In April 2025, pewag acquired Aberdeen Web, a manufacturer of webbing slings, round slings and ratchet systems.
