Polish crane firm Błażej & Roman has acquired an 800-tonne lift capacity Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1 mobile crane – the first of this model to be purchased in Poland.
“We see great opportunities and numerous possible applications for our new powerhouse. In the wind energy sector especially, we will be able to significantly expand our portfolio,” said Błażej & Roman board member Tomasz Kasperski. “We can take on larger lifting tasks and thus expand our range of services.”

Błażej and Roman said the crane’s full telescopic boom can be transported on public roads within a 12-tonne axle load. Once on site, the crane installs its rear outriggers using an additional rear-mounted outrigger, eliminating the need for an auxiliary crane.
The LTM 1750-9.1’s power train – containing the engine, the hydraulics and an integrated ballast device – is transported separately to the site and mounted on the crane by the crane itself.
Established in 1999, Błażej & Roman primarily works on Polish and German construction sites and the firm operates a fleet of 30 cranes, including 20 from Liebherr.
HLPFI reported last month that Seaboard Marine took delivery of three Liebherr LHM 550 mobile harbour cranes (MHCs).
