South Africa-based heavy haulage and rigging specialist Lovemore Bros has relocated a number of specialised abnormal trailers to Johannesburg, Gauteng.

Bruce Lovemore, company director, said: “The new vehicles and management team will be based in our existing Boksburg facility, allowing for close communication between the rigging fleet and the abnormal transport fleet.”

According to Lovemore, the company has also invested in multi-axle modular trailers, self-propelled trailers, and hydraulic goosenecks – all of which are already in use in Kwa-Zulu Natal. This equipment can be mobilised to Gauteng, on request.

Ricardo Yon, lowbed division manager at Lovemore Bros, Gauteng, said: “As our rigging divisions have made inroads into the Gauteng industrial space, we found that there was a strong demand for our versatile fleet of abnormal transport carriers to be available at short notice in the province.”
