The crane features an 85 m telescopic boom. If greater height is required, a folding jib can be installed quickly, whilst a fixed jib or luffing jib can also be attached.

Mamut Daru’s owner and managing director Csaba Balogh anticipates strong demand for the crane in Hungary. “Many new factories are being built. There is strong demand for steel construction projects where large crane radii are required. We are also planning to use the LTM 1450-8.1 for the assembly of tower cranes. In addition, many buildings in Budapest are now taller than 70 m. The long boom of the LTM 1450-8.1 is perfect here. And we also feel that our customers expect the latest crane technology from us.”

This year, the company has already taken delivery of a Liebherr LTR 1100 telescopic crawler crane as well as the LTM 1230-5.1 and LTM 1300-6.3 mobile cranes. It has also placed orders for two more LTM 1230-5.1s and one LTM 1300-6.3.
