The updated spreader beam is a lighter design and Modulift’s engineering manager, Harshal Kulkarni, said that “the new design is the result of meticulous advanced finite element analysis. The geometrically non-linear trunnions undergo validation through leading technical engineering software, ensuring a robust and effective design.”

Requiring no shackles or drop links, the trunnion is available in multiple sizes and is compatible with Modulift’s existing spreader beam range. The trunnion end unit is interchangeable with struts from the MOD110 up to the MOD600/1000 product lines.

Sarah Spivey, managing director at Modulift, added: “The improvements not only enhance the efficiency and safety of lifting operations but also underscore our dedication to meeting the evolving needs of our diverse customer base.”
