Picturesque move for Spedition K

April 30 - As the pictures below demonstrate, the recent movement of a motor ship by Spedition K

During the ship's overland transport from Linz in Austria to the Lipno lake in the Czech Republic, extremely narrow road conditions tested the Kübler team's equipment to its maximum.

Five months' planning was involved in this transport project because of the massive and heavy structure and oversized dimensions of the vessel.

The shipment had a length of 48 m overall, width of 5.95 m, height of 7.5 m and a weight of 203 tonnes, and required four escort cars, 14 technicians and six police escorts. More than 70 people were involved in the three-day transport.
