South Africa-headquartered heavy transport and rigging specialist company Vanguard has taken delivery of 32 SPMT axles and power pack units (PPUs) from Cometto.
Cometto gave a celebratory demonstration at Vanguard’s head office in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Vanguard will deploy the axles for a variety of projects across the country and the wider continent.
Last month, HLPFI reported that Vanguard delivered 25 wind turbines from the port of Richards Bay to Bethal, in South Africa. The month prior, HLPFI reported that Cometto equipment was used to install nine railway bridges in Germany.
