July 31 - Switzerland headquartered crane service provider Welti Furrer has acquired two Terex AC 350/6 cranes.

Amos Dubacher, Welti Furrer's technical coordinator, collected the first new crane from Terex's Zweibrücken facility during May, together with three crane operators, in order to receive both training and the company's newest crane. The second identical unit was delivered during July.

"The fact that the cranes have the same equipment and configuration means that we can install the accessories on either one as needed, giving us the maximum level of flexibility and versatility possible," said Dubacher.

The AC 350/6 cranes come equipped with a 72-m long luffing jib and two winch operation. "In addition, the fact that the crane has a compact design and a small front overhang means that it is the perfect match for areas with limited space," he added.

During April 2015, Welti Furrer also took delivery of two Terex Explorer 5800 all terrain cranes.
