October 14 - Air Charter Service (ACS) has launched a new smartphone and tablet app that features detailed information on more than 200 different aircraft types.
The app, available on all Apple and Android devices, features a range of commercial aircraft currently in service including: cargo aircraft; helicopters; piston aircraft; turboprops; private jets and commercial airliners.
Justin Bowman, ceo of ACS, commented: "We have been developing this app for a long time and are very happy to be able to announce its launch. It has taken our years of experience to be able to collate all the information contained within it."
The app contains photos and detailed layouts of the interior of each aircraft, including cargo hold dimensions and seating plans. It also allows users to request a charter on any of the aircraft with one click.
