Charter broker Air Charter Service (ACS) opened its third office in Australia, in Perth, at the start of September. Stephen Fernandez will head up the office.
“Following the outstanding success of our offices in Sydney and Brisbane, we have been looking to add a Western office for some time,” said Justin Bowman, ceo of ACS. “Australia is an important market for us, and we are aiming to capitalise on Perth’s role as the country’s resource and energy capital, and the city’s strong overall economy.”
Having joined ACS almost 20 years ago, Stephen Fernandez – who was initially based in the company’s UK headquarters and then Hong Kong – will head up the Perth office. He said: “I can’t wait to get started here and build a team – Australia is such a strong market for ACS.”
Last month, HLPFI reported that ACS had appointed Kerry Holder as its chief financial officer.
