“We have had a presence in Spain since 2008, and our Madrid office is one of our most successful in our network,” said Justin Bowman, group ceo. “From there we have been serving a huge number of customers in Catalonia, so it was only a matter of time before we felt we needed a second operation in the country.”

Just last month, ACS opened offices in Perth, Australia and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Now tasked with heading up the Barcelona office, Rodriguez joined the company’s Madrid office nine years ago.

“We have always felt that a local presence is of paramount importance, as each regional office allows our clients to deal with a local company, in their own language and their own currency, meaning a better service all-round for them,” said Bowman, who added that “Having offices in more locations also helps ACS, as we can attract the best in local talent, further strengthening our global team.”

ACS is planning further expansion, with Bowman revealing that there are currently plans for more offices next year.
