April 5 - Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings - a US-based provider of outsourced aircraft - has confirmed that its Atlas Air subsidiary has taken delivery of its eighth B747-8 freighter.
The new freighter is expected to enter aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance (ACMI) service during the second quarter of 2013.
A ninth and final B747-8F will join the Atlas Air fleet by the end of the second quarter of 2013.
