Broshuis is extending the closure of its factory in the Netherlands.

On March 30, the trailer manufacturer temporarily shut down its production site, as HLPFI reported here.

According to Broshuis, working with heavy components in combination with the 1.5 m distance rule makes working safely impossible. The company previously expected production to resume in early May but has since said that “there is no room for softening yet”.

In addition to social distancing regulations, crucial international suppliers are still closed, added Broshuis.

The manufacturer now expects to resume production, at least partially, as of June 2 so that deliveries can start again in July.
