Collett & Sons has expanded its UK warehousing operations with the addition of two facilities – Mile Thorn Works (Halifax) and Perseverance Works (Elland).
Collett now offers six depots across Halifax, Goole Grangemouth and Bradford, with the capability to accommodate all types of cargo from heavy lift abnormal loads through to standard pallets.
Located 0.7 miles (1.1 km) from Collett’s long-established Halifax Headquarters, Mile Thorn Works offers 3,224 sq m of secure internal storage. This facility is equipped with two 20-tonne and two 10-tonne lifting capacity gantry cranes and offers drive-in roller shutter access allowing cargo to be directly offloaded from the trailer.
Perseverance Works provides clients with an additional 3,792 sq m of internal storage and is fitted with multiple gantry cranes ranging in size up to 32-tonnes. This facility features three high bays with 7.75 m high eaves and a drive-in loading area. The depot is located near to junction 24 of the M62 motorway.
