UK-based Collett & Sons has added two MAN TGX 6x4 heavy-duty tractor units to its fleet.
The units are designed for demanding heavy transport work, offering a 160-tonne gross vehicle weight (GVW) rating. Like the TGX SLM 41.640 prime mover that Collett introduced in April 2025, the TGX 6x4 heavy tractor units are powered by a 640 hp D38 engine.
Collett has already begun deploying the units for projects. The prime movers are already on the road.
HLPFI reported last month that Collett had delivered six transformers for the Yorkshire GREEN project, in the UK.
