International accountant and shipping adviser Moore Stephens has completed its partial merger with advisory BDO.
The merger, according to BDO, creates the largest UK accountancy and business advisory firm focused on mid-sized businesses. The deal relates only to the London, Birmingham, Reading, Bristol and Watford offices of Moore Stephens. The remaining UK offices and its international locations will continue to operate as Moore Stephens.
The merged offices will operate under the BDO brand and as part of BDO’s international network, which covers 162 countries.
Simon Gallagher, former managing partner at Moore Stephens, joins BDO’s leadership team as head of advisory; Jon Randall, formerly chief operating officer, also joins the team as head of integration and transformation.
