Emslie appointed at Swain

David Emslie has been appointed by the Swain Group as its strategic development director.

He will be based at the company’s headquarters in Rochester, UK, working alongside commercial director, Matthew Sweet.

Emslie joins Swain from his 11-year role as sales director for Canute Group.

In this newly established role, Emslie will be responsible for developing the company’s range of services, which includes general haulage, logistics, palletised distribution and project management, as well specialist transportation services for clients in the construction, energy and infrastructure sectors.
