Expo 2020 Dubai has been postponed by one year due to the Covid-19 outbreak. It will now be held from October 1, 2021 until March 31, 2022.
The event, originally scheduled to start on October 20, 2020, was projected to attract some 24 million visitors.
"Expo 2020 Dubai is gearing up to help shape a post-pandemic world and create a better future for all," according to Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) – the organisation overseeing the event.
