Hudson calls on Modulift for tractor lift

Hudson Lifting has utilised a Modulift spreader frame to lift a 6-tonne John Deere tractor in London for specialist construction and civil engineering company Keltbray.

Hudson Lifting had just 36 hours to source and supply the frame as well as two 12-tonne capacity lifting nets that would wrap around the tractor’s tyres.

Based on the weight and dimensions of the tractor, Hudson Lifting selected a CMOD 24 spreader frame.

Danny Smalldridge, director at Hudson Lifting, said: “We accepted a task to provide the rigging gear that would complete a below-the-hook rig used to lower the tractor into a void beneath ground level.

“The frame was chosen based on the position of the wheels and the requirement of lifting nets, which was the only rigging option considered in this instance.”
