Kenagy named deputy

May 24 - The Port of Long Beach has appointed Duane Kenagy as its deputy executive director.

Kenagy, who has more than 35 years of engineering and project management experience, joined the Long Beach Harbor Department in 2014 as the port's capital programs executive, managing the port's major modernisation projects, including the Gerald Desmond Bridge replacement project and the Middle Harbor terminal redevelopment.

Kenagy most recently served as interim chief executive prior to the appointment of Mario Cordero in April.
