Konecranes will deliver a mobile harbour crane to the port of Terneuzen, the Netherlands in spring, and a second unit to the port of Antwerp, Belgium in mid-2020.

Goeyvaerts, an equipment rental company that has operations in several European ports, placed the order for the two Gottwald Model 7 cranes late last year.

“We already operate a large fleet of Konecranes Gottwald mobile harbour cranes, and we will have a total of 20 with this new order,” said Kevin Goeyvaerts, co-owner and coo of Goeyvaerts. “As rental cranes, they have to be adaptable to all kinds of applications and easy to move from one place to another.”

The G HMK 7608 B type cranes can lift up to 150 tons (136.1 tonnes) and will be used by Goeyvaerts’ customers to handle bulk materials, containers plus general and project cargo.
