The 25,000 dwt Kota Bakat – operated by King Ocean Gulf Alliance (KOGA) Shipping – made its maiden voyage from Port Houston's CARE Terminal last week.

The monthly service will connect Houston to South America’s northern coast, including Colombia, Venezuela, Trinidad, Guyana and Suriname. This service will be able to handle project and breakbulk cargoes generated by the oil and gas, mining, power generation and infrastructure sectors.
