Russia’s Avtokran-Tjumen has taken delivery of an LR 1500 crawler crane from Liebherr.
The crane is being used by the contractor for the erection of turbines at a wind farm in Adygea.
According to Liebherr, the LR 1500 can be used without a derrick system for wind turbines up to 100 m in height. With a derrick system the 500-tonne lifting capacity crane can install turbines with hub heights up to 130 m.
