Massive cargoes for King Fahd Industrial Port

October 1 - King Fahd Industrial Port in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia has handled two huge adapters carried from Korea onboard Hanjin Pioneer and belonging to the Marafiq company.

 

The general director of King Fahd Industrial Port in Yanbu, Captain Abdullah Al-Zami, stated that these pieces are among the largest pieces received by the port, adding that they provide a good indication of the operational efficiency of the port and its capacity in handling the largest equipment and merchandise.
On the same day, the port handled the upper part of a distillation tower which weighed over 600 tonnes, and was shipped onboard Jumbo Shipping's Fairlane.
