Neste makes low-sulphur fuel available in Germany

Neste has signed a partnership agreement with Germany’s BMT Bunker und Mineralöltransport regarding the sale and distribution of its low-sulphur fuel, Marine 0.5.

The marine fuel is compliant with the upcoming International Maritime Organization’s (IMO) sulphur regulations and has been available in Bremerhaven, Germany since the beginning of November.

As part of the agreement, BMT will be Neste’s fuel channel partner in northwestern Europe and will distribute the fuel to global shipping companies operating via Bremerhaven.
