Premier Global’s successful shipments

Premier Global Logistics has recently completed a series of project shipments – including nacelle transport frames (NTF), a stator ring, and seven over-dimensional pieces of cargo.

Premier Global transported 35 NTFs, with total volume of 8,832 cu m, from GE manufacturing facilities in Vadodara, India to a wind turbine production facility in France.

The frames, which measured 11.8 m x 7.7 m x 2.7 m and weighed 32.7 tonnes each, were initially transported within India using hydraulic axles. Premier Global said that it was also responsible for: organising export clearance; port handling; ocean freight; import clearance; storage at Montoir port; transportation within France; and delivery/offloading at the GE factory.

Premier Global also shipped a stator ring, which measured 5.9 m x 5.9 m x 2.7 m and weighed 51.7 tonnes, to the French GE factory.

In a separate project, Premier Global shipped seven over-dimensional pieces, the heaviest of which weighed 61.7 tonnes, from locations in northern and central India to Kandla port using its own axles. The cargo was shipped to Chittagong port in Bangladesh on the Ocean7 breakbulk vessel, Marmina.

Premier Global Logistics is a member of the XLProjects (XLP) network and the Project Cargo Network (PCN).
